I can’t even express how happy I am right now. We first signed our daughter up for Savvy because she was really struggling with reading. She was always reluctant to read with us at home, and reading was never her strongest subject in school — and then the pandemic put her way behind. She tested well below grade level at the end of 2nd grade. With her going into 3rd grade and knowing how crucial this year is to a child, how essential it is for them to read well in order to succeed in any subject, we were so worried. Savvy has been such a boon, lending her confidence and support, helping her to climb back up to grade level and then beyond!

His teacher tested his reading levels about a month ago and he is finally at 3rd grade level! He still has some work to do to catch up to where he needs to be but the progress he has made since beginning Savvy has been incredible! For me, the best part has been that he WANTS to read every night! He has read 3 chapter books over the last 6 weeks and that is HUGE!!! We are so thankful for you and Savvy!!!

My son came home from school today with a movie sized box of sweet tarts and huge grin. I asked where he get the candy and he told me it was his reward for exceeding his goal on his reading progress monitor test for Feb. I asked how he did and he casually said “oh, I made a 100” What?! He had the highest grade in his class and also received a special reward and congratulations from the principal herself today. When school started n August his first progress monitoring test score was a 58. He has been in an EIP pullout class for reading all year (which he dislikes) and his teacher was so proud of his improvement at our Dec. conference, but he still wasn’t quite meeting the grade level standard for fluency. It’s always a fight when I work with him at home so I signed him up for Savvy in Jan and in less than 2 months this is where we are. A 100! I don’t know what kind of magic y’all are doing, but this mom is grateful. It’s HUGE to see him excited about his reading progress.

Wanted to tell you about my sons progress in starting Savvy. In 4 months he has gone from reading 63 WPM to 97! Below grade level to almost where he needs to be at the end on the school year! But better yet, for the first time ever, he loves reading! He has loved the class since day one, but after about three months of savvy, he started reading so much more. In just 45 days, he has right over 70 books! I love seeing his excitement over books and telling me about them.

My four-year-old has gone from just starting to sound out CVC words to fluently reading picture books over the course of the summer thanks to Savvy reading. But even more importantly, he spends his day sitting and reading books for fun and the other day told me “I love being able to read books by myself!“ Thank you so much for this amazing reading program that has instilled a love of reading in my child!! I will be eternally grateful!

We did savvy all summer. Between the pandemic and some weather issues in Louisiana (a historic hurricane and winter storm), my son missed a dozen or more days of kindergarten… On top of the fact that he has an articulation disorder and just got caught up with speech. He was “right where he needed to be“ according to teacher when kinder ended but I was afraid of the summer slide. We are so glad we did savvy, he almost went up an entire reading level from AR‘s scale of .5 to 1.4!!) in one summer. worth every penny. So first grade has been an easy review so far, and I am confident that we are ready for accelerated reading to begin!

No questions, I just wanted to say that we started Savvy reading in January with my son, so he’s been doing it for about a month and a half now and I can’t believe how quickly his reading is improving! We kinda just planned on doing 1 month and likely quitting it but seeing how much he’s improved and how much he actually loves the doing savvy every night, we couldn’t let ourselves stop the subscription. I’ve been raving about the program to anyone I can, we’re so impressed and satisfied with it! I’m so excited about your preschool savvy announcement because I am 100% going to put my second son in that program when the time comes.

Not a question but I have a very shy (won’t talk to anyone) 4 year old who has been in Savvy all summer. He didn’t talk for the first few weeks, but his teacher Ms. Yasmine kept talking to him like he was talking back. Now he talks to her and “his friends” so much I have to yell from the other room for him to focus, when just a few short months ago, I was pleading with him to say hi, or repeat letters. I am looking forward to starting Jr. Kinder because I know this has given him such a strong foundation with reading, but most importantly he is teachable and social, thanks to Savvy.

If any parents need one more prompt start Savvy, and I am sure you hear it often… The only regret we have as we wish we had started it sooner!

OK so my son started savvy in December… He is in first grade and really struggled. He isn’t on grade level. We have so many other reading products that just weren’t working for him. Including reading dynamics. But after just a few months of savvy, he was reading all of the blue books from reading dynamics to me and is so proud and confident. He’s still only at a kinder level… But I can definitely tell he’s moving up! And hoping that keeping up Savvy through the summer can help him catch up! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I cannot thank you enough for your recommendation of reading Savvy! My son has been home with me for the last year and I’ve been struggling to give him the reading skills he needs – he’s going into kindergarten in the fall. He just doesn’t want me to teach him at all or do anything educational with me. He won’t even let me read to him other than at bedtime. I tried one online program but the sessions were too long, there were too many kids and he hated it, so I kind of gave up then you suggested reading savvy and I I figured we could try it. With this program he likes his teacher and I am blown away at the progress he’s made in just two weeks. Thank you so much! It’s making a huge difference for us!

I just want to say thank you so much for savvy! My daughter (6) started a month or so ago and loves it. I can tell her reading is improving a ton too. I’m homeschooling her for the year (kindergarten) and because of the pandemic she hasn’t seen many of her friends. So it brings me so much joy to see her light up when she sees other kiddos during her savvy class. She also asks me every hour of the day before her class starts if it’s time for Savvy yet so just wanted to say thank you!

My son is in first grade and has been taking Savvy reading classes. He has always loved being read to but has been a bit reluctant to read much on his own. These classes have been a wonderful fit to get him reading consistently. The class format has been really engaging for him and the teacher is fantastic. Our state has been online since March. Our district is doing a great job, but having the small group reading time has been incredibly helpful.

It has been a really great experience as you know – the second born doesn’t get the quality time like the first born. Sorry reading has been a lifesaver and my daughter have learned so much. She is loving and look forward to it every day!

I signed my daughter up for Savvy when it first launched and we couldn’t be happier with the program! I decided to homeschool my daughter this year due to Covid and our district being virtual. I wanted to supplement what we were learning at home with a reading program and Savvy has been the perfect fit! My daughter hated zoom classes at the end of the last school year but has loved logging in for savvy every morning. Her teacher is fantastic and keeps the class moving at the perfect pace. Such a great investment and we have seen our daughters reading skills and confidence take off since starting this program. Can’t recommend it enough.

We have loved the program so far! J gets out on the weekends when he doesn’t have class!

I messaged you before, but my 1st grader started with Savvy from the beginning. He was barely at grade level, and was struggling after being out of the classroom. I cannot even begin to tell you how much he has grown and improved under Savvy and Ms. Woods. It is literally night and day. He’s reading and spelling all the time now. He put a ton of books on his Christmas list and he helped me bake a cake today and read the recipe all by himself. He tells me now that he loves to read all the time now, and reading of any kind prior to September was a struggle. We couldn’t be happier with the Savvy has done for him!

My 6 year-old daughter just started Savvy reading on Monday, and she loves it. She started crying yesterday because she thought she would miss reading group due to her art class ending around that time! And last night after dinner, she asked if she could go upstairs and read alone! I can’t wait to see her progress.

My daughter Maia is in her first class right now! She was so nervous all day, and wasn’t sure she’d like it but seems super happy so far! Can’t wait to hear her thoughts when she is finished! I think she feels very grown-up. Have to say, I’m already impressed!

My son loved his first lesson. He told his teacher right away that him and his brother used to fight and his brother had a small heart like the grinch. But now they don’t fight and his heart through to a normal sized. He will be very entertaining for his teacher
