A curriculum built to produce real progress
Reading covers the five pillars named by the National Reading Panel: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
Math follows the explicit-instruction and visual-representation practices identified by the National Mathematics Advisory Panel and the What Works Clearinghouse.

Our week is already full. Where does this go?
Sessions are 25 minutes, at the same time each week. Private plans run any day Monday to Friday, so you choose the days that already have a gap.
Two days a week on a sequenced curriculum builds more than two days of ad hoc help, because each session picks up where the last one stopped instead of starting over.

The practical details
How do the two free weeks work?
Pick a plan by August 11 and your first month is charged when you enroll. Your renewal date then moves out 14 days, so you get 45 days of sessions before your next payment.
If you book a free trial instead, you choose a plan afterwards only if it is the right fit. Take no action and you are not charged.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime, with no fee and no contract. Cancelling stops future billing. Sessions already delivered are not refunded.
What if we need to take a break instead?
You can pause your plan, which suspends billing. Begin a pause from your dashboard, or contact support. Pauses run up to six months.
How does scheduling work?
Sessions run at the same time each week. Private plans choose any weekday, Monday to Friday. The 4-day Group plan runs a set Monday to Thursday schedule.
How is my child's tutor chosen?
We match your child with a tutor for the days and times you pick. From there they see the same tutor every ongoing session. Tutors are background-checked and trained to teach Savvy's lessons.
What if my child misses a session?
Missed sessions are forfeited, so it is worth picking days you can hold to. If a week goes sideways, contact support and we will help you work it out.
Which subjects and grades?
Reading for grades K–6 and math for grades 1st–5th. Choose one subject per plan.
Does Savvy follow my child's school curriculum?
No. Savvy runs its own sequenced program, so your child works through it in order rather than following whatever their class covered that week. Families who need a tutor to work inside their existing materials are usually a better fit elsewhere.
